Branding an Association
We worked very closely with the board members of the Independent Schools Association of BC (ISABC). The 23 member Association is made up of private schools educating nearly 12,000 students across the province of British Columbia.
We had many valuable discussions to clarify the goals and objectives of the brand as well as “who” was ISABC’s client, and the impact of colour of the overall branding. The final visual identity’s rectangular shape is symbolic of foundation, community, balance and integrity. The ISABC letters emerge from the background and the solid spaces are representative of the individual schools; the association thus emerges from the coming together and collaboration of the independent member schools.
